Welcome to The Way of Jesus Website.

Early believers in Jesus were called “Followers of the Way.” They had learned from Him a totally new way of living. They were filled with joy that Jesus had died for their sins and risen from the dead. Then, Jesus ascended to the throne of God. His disciples (growing in number daily) were filled with the Holy Spirit. They were learning, by His grace, to live like Jesus taught them. It was the way of truth and love. It was not always easy, for the world was evil. But they believed His promise that He would never leave them.

Are you a follower of the Way, too? Or perhaps you want to learn what the Way is. This website has 50 studies from the teachings of Jesus found in the New Testament section of the Bible. They are designed to help you look closely at what Jesus taught and, with the Holy Spirit helping you, apply it to your life wherever you are. You may use these for private study. But we recommend, if possible, that you study them with others who believe in Him, too. Around the world there are communities of faith who follow Jesus together and change their worlds.

Of course, there is more than what you will find here. As you read all “the Gospels” (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John), you’ll see a more complete picture of what it means to “obey everything that I have commanded” (Mt. 28:20). And don’t forget the rest of the New Testament in the Bible. Jesus’ apostles help us better understand how to live a life of faith, hope, and love.

God bless you as you follow the way of Jesus. Expect the Lord to change you (and others through you) forever.
